    • Multiple vitamin/mineral formulas
    • Botanical products for PMS, menopause, depression, mental function and immune function.
  • Products developed must be supported by research to substantiate structure/function statements.
  • Presently reviewing vitamin, mineral and botanical labels for DSHEA regulations.
  • Evaluates new raw good materials for capsule, tablets softgels and powders. This includes investigation of "new ingredients", according to DSHEA (1994), certificate of analysis, standards of manufacturing, evaluation of product's physiological function and safety.
  • Develops educational reports and cassettes on products for the sales force.
  • Involved in setting up research library, literature review committee and technical reports.
  • Acts as a support person to sales, marketing, customer service, international relations and purchasing.
  • Public Relations: Lecturer and represents Weider at industry symposiums, trade shows, national television and radio. In 1997, was chairperson and speaker at the Woman's Health and Supplement Symposium and at the International Business Communications Symposium. Topics included: PMS, Menopause, Cancer, Breast Health, Structure/Function, etc. Spoke at Nutrition and Health show.
